Metal-free ceramics

Metal-free ceramics is a modern and quite popular type of prosthetics. The peculiarity of the design is that it is created from a ceramic material of high strength. In this case, metal components are not used. The exclusive advantage of metal-free ceramics is the high aesthetic component of the final result.

Metal-free ceramics is used for the manufacture of inlays, veneers,dental crowns, that is,in situations where it is necessary to preserve the viability of the tooth and its architecture. If there was a change in the previously made seals (darkening) or the crown itself is unnaturally dark, chipped or other problems have arisen on the tooth, You can be recommended metal-free ceramics. Only certified materials and methods are used in our clinic.

The advantages of metal-free ceramics include its non-allergenic, almost unlimited aesthetic possibilities of tooth restoration, especially in the detection of violations of the front teeth. When using metal-free ceramics for the manufacture of prostheses, it is possible to achieve an ideal match of the shape and color of the crown to the natural teeth of the patient, and the inertia of the material ensures its safety for health. Under metal-free ceramics tooth is processed minimally, which is very important. The crown perfectly "sits" on the prepared tooth, which provides prevention of the development of a pathological process under it, for example, caries.

For a long time it was believed that metal-free ceramics can be used only on the front teeth, which do not experience a significant load when chewing. The basis of this opinion was the idea of the fragility of the ceramic material. In modern conditions, the crown is made by casting, which ensures its high strength and made it possible to prosthetics and chewing teeth with the help of such structures

Metal ceramics

Metal ceramics can successfully solve two problems at once: to return the teeth to full chewing function and install dentures that do not differ from real teeth. Thanks to this approach, today the dental prosthetics of cermet, as one of the types of effective permanent prosthetics, is the most frequently used option. In this type of prosthesis are used metal-ceramic crowns. They represent a combined non-removable dental prosthesis that is created from a certain metal with a porcelain (ceramic) veneer, which covers the metal base.

At the same time, the metal frame existing in the crowns of metal ceramics takes on the function of a lost tooth, and the facing porcelain mass covering it completely imitates natural tooth enamel. For optimal results, the color of the ceramic crown should be chosen to match the color scheme

adjacent teeth, and look and reflect light similar to real teeth.

Removable prosthetics

Hardly anyone would argue with the statement that there are no teeth better than natural. However, in the life of every person there may be situations when one or more teeth are lost, and there is a need for prosthetics. Modern removable prosthetics is significantly different from what was offered to patients before. Rough and uncomfortable shapes, ugly appearance, the need to often remove dentures from the oral cavity – these are just some of the unpleasant moments that characterized removable dentures in the past. In our work we use modern materials, high-tech equipment, the latest techniques, which allows us to guarantee all patients of our clinic the highest level of medical care.

Removable dentures can be recommended for patients who have a small number of natural teeth in the dentition or their shaky position does not allow use as a support for a fixed structure. Show removable prosthetics in pathological mobility of the teeth on the background of periodontitis, when the ends of the jaw defects.

The important advantages of this technique include the possibility of filling the defects of the dentition from one tooth to the almost complete absence of such in the jaw. In addition, in comparison with other methods of prosthetics, removable prosthetics has a relatively low cost, which may well serve as an alternative for patients with low incomes.

We approach the creation of removable dentures with a high degree of responsibility. Each patient passes primary consultation of the dentist-orthopedist, according to indications sanation of the centers of infection, strengthening and preparation of abutment teeth is carried out. Computer technology produces an accurate simulation of the dental system of the patient, creates a model of the prosthesis, which is then performed on modern equipment. Individually, the doctor selects the patient type of prosthesis (partially removable, removable, clasp). For many patients, an important issue is the need to remove the prosthesis from the oral cavity. Currently, removable dentures are being created, which do not need to be constantly installed and removed throughout the day, stored in additional containers. They are quite firmly held on the jaw, do not create discomfort when breathing, chewing, talking. It is necessary to remove them only for carrying out hygienic care. Micro-prosthetics is a modern technology that allows you to achieve maximum functional and aesthetic results in the restoration of teeth, almost regardless of the degree of their destruction.

Fixed prosthetics

Such dental prosthetics is the best option for those patients who want to undergo the prosthetics procedure once and forget about their problems with teeth for a long time. Non-removable prosthetics is possible only if your own teeth

can withstand a significant load on them. Such constructions usually represent the following subspecies:

* root tabs,

* single crowns,

* dentures and bridges.

With the help of intra-root tabs, the doctor strengthens the tooth from the inside and replenishes the volume of already destroyed tooth tissues.

Crowns in all clinics are considered the most common method of prosthetics. A prerequisite for their use – preserved root (with severely damaged and not subject to restoration of the tooth).

Bridges replace missing teeth (usually one or two). It can be based on the patient's native teeth or implanted implants. This prosthesis consists of directly crowns and an intermediate part. Put it on the surviving own human teeth – and in this case they act as a support, and intermediate

Microprosthetics

In fact, microprostheses are individual seals made of ceramic or composite material, which are made in the dental laboratory. Since this technology involves working with special devices (articulators) and various furnaces, these structures are much stronger, the shrinkage of the material is minimized (which allows to increase the service life), and the shape and color of the micro prosthesis is close to the natural tissues of the tooth.

During the first visit, the doctor takes a special impression of the tooth (or a group of teeth), which he sends to the laboratory, and at the time of manufacturing the tooth closes with a temporary seal. According to the casts in the dental laboratory, a model is cast - an exact copy of the jaw, where the technician models a new tooth. After 2-3 days from the dental laboratory comes the finished design and the patient is invited to a fitting. If he is satisfied with the result, the doctor fixes the structure in the oral cavity on a special cement, which has great strength and holding force.

Implant-supported dentures

The essence of prosthetics on implants is that an artificial root (implant, implant) is implanted into the jaw bone, on which the abutment (head) and the crown are installed.

This type of prosthetics is currently considered optimal. Dentures on implants can replace defects of the dentition of any length. At the same time, the treatment process is local and entirely concentrated in the area of missing teeth. By means of prosthetics on implants it is possible to replace removable prostheses with

nonremovable. Or you can provide a better fixation of the removable prosthesis if it is impossible to install implants in an amount sufficient for fixation

Veneers
In modern society, such a thing as a perfect, radiant smile, has become a kind of “trademark” of a truly confident and successful person. Hardly anyone does not want to have perfect, smooth and healthy teeth. Fortunately, cosmetic shortcomings of the oral cavity are easily eliminated with the help of the latest developments in the field of dentistry. If your “perfect smile”, unfortunately, is not without defects, this is not a reason to despair — veneers for teeth quickly and painlessly help you solve this problem. What is dental veneers? Veneers – a ceramic coating in the form of thin plates (3-5 mm), which are applied to the front of the tooth. This procedure is the fastest way to restore them. When installing veneers there is no need for significant grinding of teeth, grind only the top layer of enamel, then make a mold, which will create the necessary workpiece. Next, veneers are attached to the teeth with a special composite glue, which hardens under light and chemical influence. The use of this method of fastening contributes to a longer service life. Veneers are placed not only on healthy teeth, this can be done on pulpless. Actually, they are more aesthetic in nature, because they help eliminate defects, for example, bite. In addition, with them the smile looks natural and beautiful. Also, veneers are used to change the position of the tooth in a row, restore or correct its shape. Now that we already know what veneers for teeth are, we can decide in which cases they should be installed. Indications for the establishment of veneers can serve as large cracks, chips, cracks, irregularities on the surface of the teeth and stains on them, the wrong location of the in a row, seals that differ in color, and so on. In our clinic we produce porcelain veneers, which are the most durable and aesthetic.
